THE PUPPY PROCESS
STEP 1
It’s understandable how one cuddle with a puppy can make you fall in love with the idea. However, adding a puppy to your family needs to be thought through for the benefits of all family members and the puppy. All of the aspects of pet ownership need to be considered. Please take some time and process through these points with all of the family members involved.
Is everyone in the family on board with getting a puppy?
Do you have other pets? How might they get along?
Do you have young children? How will you supervise the children and the puppy? Are there other young children often in your home?
Will someone be at home with the puppy during the day? Will the puppy be alone and for how long?
What type of home do you have? Will the puppy have a fenced outdoor space to explore or will there be regular walks each day?
Are you prepared for the financial commitment to puppy ownership: regular vet care, grooming, food and supplies?
Have you considered puppy class options, what socializing might look like, and obedience training?
Think through unforeseen circumstances and what they might look like: a job loss, a move, a new baby, and such.

STEP 2
If you are interested in a puppy from an upcoming litter, please fill out our Puppy Interest Form. We will respond to you to let you know we received it. This also confirms we have a clear means to communicate. Feel free to ask any questions you have. We want you to feel comfortable. Do not hesitate to call, email, or text us with questions. Please take a moment and read through the FAQ and Puppy Process page completely. Most of the questions we get, are answered there. Please tell us what you are looking for in the message box. Check back to the website, you should see your initials on the list within a few days. If you don’t, please reach out to be sure we have your request.
Waiting List (no deposit required) This will keep you in the loop of upcoming litters, and give you the option to move to the next spot on the Reservation List, as spots open up. We will email you before we announce planned breedings. Upon moving to the Reservation List the deposit ($500) will be due.
Reservation List ($500 deposit required) This list is for those who are prepared to commit to a puppy from an expected litter. The deposit is nonrefundablen but it is transferable to another litter.
STEP 3
Sit back and wait for the arrival of your new bundle. If this is your first puppy, talk to other dog owners. Learn everything you can. We are always here for your questions too. Follow us on Facebook for updates and pictures.
